Padel Lead Vacancy
Who are we?
Northamptonshire Tennis (NT) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), and the governing body for tennis and padel within in the county. We have evolved from the long-established Northamptonshire Lawn Tennis Association (NLTA). We are run by a Board of Trustees, a friendly team of volunteers who love sport and are happy to help with the running of tennis and padel activities across the county.
Closely aligned with the LTA, and our charitable purpose, the vision and mission of Northamptonshire Tennis is ‘Tennis Opened Up’. To grow our sport by ensuring it is relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable. We have a similar approach to developing and promoting padel and to support, one of the fastest growing sports in Britain and the county, we have created a Padel Lead role.
Our voting members are LTA registered tennis and padel clubs and venues within Northants. We engage with our members on providing safe and welcoming opportunities for everyone to play. We help organise competitions and tournaments, we promote coaching, and we support our county level players, both juniors and seniors. We promote and support inclusive programmes for people with disabilities and additional needs.
We value diversity and inclusion and encourage people from all backgrounds and experiences to apply to join us and to help broaden our perspectives in everything we do.
