Men's O45 County Cup Report
Northants were represented by –
- Giuliano Labban, Christian Rostlund, Spencer Coates and Paul White (team captain)
- Paul and Spencer played singles and Giuliano and Christian were our doubles pair.
Our first match was away against Derbyshire. It was a tough one, they had their strongest team out and we lost 1-4. Giuliano and Christian picked up 1 rubber.
Second match was at home against the Isle of Man. We won 4-1. A great team effort by all.
Paul and Spencer lost a very close doubles match on a championship tie break.
Last match was at home against Gloucestershire, we lost that 1-4. Giuliano and Christian picked up our 1 rubber, having had a good season playing for us this year, picking up rubbers in every match!
Gloucestershire went on to win the league, dropping only 1 rubber the whole season.
